This is a new build contemproary social housing project for Community Housing Group (One Housing group) in Stoke Newington in Hackney

The project is in two sections:-

A four storey single ‘Infill’ house has been designed to fit within the existing terrace gap on Allen Rd, and to the rear is a new build housing project of seven ‘mews’ style L-shaped designed houses and flats.

This was a brownfield site located between two existing Victorian terraces.

Great care has been taken to avoid overlooking so that each house has its main rooms oriented towards the afternoon sun and away from the windows in properties surrounding the site. The new houses are constructed to be as low as possible, particularly along the northern edge at the rear of the gardens to Clonbrock Road.
