Ryan’s Bar

London, N16

The refurbishment of this listed pub in Stoke Newington involved a complete re-ordering of the ground and basement floors. Extra floor space was created by moving the toilets into the basement, a re-positioned central bar improved circulation and visibility whilst providing two distinct seating spaces at the front and rear of the pub. The front space facing Church Street, within the older part of the property, is lined with contemporary wall panelling whilst the rear space has full height sliding-folding doors connecting to the garden beyond. The basement includes a music venue, toilets and back of house facilities.
