Our Brickworks Crouch Hill Community Centre + Housing for Islington Council was launched by Jeremy Corbyn

Brady Mallalieu Architects are delighted that the Brickworks project for Islington Council was launched by Jeremy Corby and leader of the Council on 20th Jan. Hundreds were at the launch and there was music and dancing and a bouncy castle for the kids. There is now a large Community Centre with 1,000 Sq M of activity space for the local community to enjoy.

There are 23 new Council Homes in this new development constructed by Higgins Homes. Brady Mallalieu architects give regular tours of the new centre to interested groups.

Jeremy Corbyn was involved with this project from the start as the Local MP & he sat on the Board of Trustees of the Laundry Club and is now a trustee of The Brickworks.

The entrance foyer as a usable space which leads into the Main Hall.

The Main Hall that can be divided with an acoustic wall to make two functions rooms served by its own kitchen / catering facilities.

A happy Colin Adams MBE manages the new centre.

Thanks to the whole team for making a great success of this project, in particular to David Ronan & Teresa Santucci of Islington Council and Rakesh Makanji of Higgins Construction and Andrew Carr of Brady Mallalieu Architects making a great team.
