BMA were asked to prepare an urban study for a large site on a spit of land called The Murrough between sea and river close to Wicklow Town, south of Dublin. The purpose of the study was to explore possible densities and design ideas for the site including the impact on other areas of The Murrough and to develop an early dialogue with the planning department. The plan proposes a rough masterplan for the whole peninsula that could develop as part of the creation of a new settlement on the site of old disused warehouses.
