The landscape proposals for the west end of St Andrew’s churchyard in Holborn create a variety of sitting areas for individual and small groups. A sinuous walls unifies the proposals. Two circular spaces have a dish shaped cross section. One dish holds water and relates to the church entrance. The other dish is grassed and invites people to lie on the ground with a view of the sky. Both spaces have a reflective quality appropriate to their churchyard setting.

Related ideas and themes were realised in our proposals for Peacock Place at Laycock Street.
